Join us as we celebrate African American Freedom. This FREE family-friendly event will bring vendors, food, drinks, live music and entertainment.

In collaboration with the city of Portsmouth, the Urban League of Hampton Roads presents the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Festival. The event features live local and national music performances, local minority owned businesses, soul food vendors, BIPOC artists, and more. This year’s theme will center on the significance of addressing gun violence, highlighting organizations that offer services and resources aimed at building a better tomorrow. Over the last 2 years, the event was headlined by R&B Grammy Award-winning, Blackstreet, 702, and Montel Jordan attracting over 5,000 people.
