Mother Baby Wellness

Get ready for an uplifting experience! In July 2024, the ULHR Health team, alongside Zina Brockman of the MotherBaby Wellness Center and Bon Secours Community Health Hub, hosted our first-ever Mother-Baby Wellness Community Baby Shower. This unforgettable day was all about empowering pre- and post-natal moms, offering a holistic, self-care retreat focused on their unique needs—and it was a huge success! Expect a day filled with valuable information, relaxation, and fun for moms and their support systems. Plus, we have sessions just for men, and childcare will be provided so your little ones can enjoy the day too.

Don’t miss out on this special celebration of motherhood and family wellness!

Mindful Nutrition

Join us for Urban Wellness: Mindful Nutrition, a 4-week class series focused on the connection between mental health and food wellness. This interactive program includes cooking demonstrations, gardening tips, and discussions on tackling food insecurity. Open to parents of students in Portsmouth City Schools and adults in the Portsmouth area, the sessions aim to empower participants with practical skills for healthier living.

Classes begin in October—don’t miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and nourish both body and mind!
